San Diego, CA

ASIAM Institute was happy to once again sponsor the 16th International Symposium on Ligaments & Tendons (ISL&T- XVI) in San Diego, California. It was another outstanding meeting. Our Program Chair, Dr. Christos Papageorgiou put together an innovative and enlightening program. Dr. Chih-Hwa Chen began the day’s presentations with a clinical keynote entitled “Biological Strategy on ACL Surgery’. The program was comprised of 8 sessions: Structure & Function of Soft Tissues; Biomechanics of Tendons & Ligaments; ACL Biomechanics, Repair & Regeneration; Surgery & Therapeutics; Tissue Engineering, Regeneration & Healing; Tendinopathy & Tendinosis; Tendon & Ligament Stem Cells; and Rotator Cuff Repair & Healing. With the very generous support of Dr. Albert and Mrs. Beth Banes and the Flexcell International Corporation and ASIAM, we were able to award a total of five awards this year.
